An inseparable part of road trips in Iran is undoubtedly encountering billboards. As a traveler, I have always encountered billboards that are in large advertising boards in my travels; But the thing that caught my attention was not the advertisements of these boards, but the decaying space that stood out on the sides of the roads after months and years. Rusty boards, mandares, thi, white and sometimes black, all these were a big nothing for me.
The lack of advertising images and the emptying of these metal statues of all their uses, as if it showed the collapse of all their economic functions. I was faced with a tool that was no longer aligned with its original use, which is to serve the upper class, but now it is exposed as a nuisance on the landscape of nature and our life.
